Shore Temple,Mamallapuram The Shore Temple,situated on the shores of the Bay of Bengal in Mamallapuram near Chennai in the state of Tamil Nadu,India.It was built in the 8th century A.D during the reign of King Narasimhavarman II of the Pallava dynasty.The Pallavas ruled from Kanchipuram and Mamallapuram or Mahabalipuram as it is now called was their port city.
